Kennedy's Address on Cuba (1962). The scariest day of my childhood. I remember that Monday evening October 22, 1962 like it was a few weeks ago. I came home from piano lessons to hear my father say that we had to watch President Kennedy give a speech about Cuba. After the speech I I remember clearly waiting to die for days. My family discussed it. No matter how bad things are now that day was worse.
